Day 1: And we're off!

We definitely stuck to our agenda today:) Marley had a nice nap in the car while I drove to the farm. Rest stops were necessary and we got some pizza, gas, and Dairy Queen!! Eastern Washington is kind of dry, but once we drove through the valley into the Lake Chelan area, the views were gorgeous. Seth greeted us when we arrived, and he gave us a tour of the farm. We were introduced to the various animals including Curly, Socks, and Hazel. We also met Laura, the other intern! Once our stuff was in the trailer, we skedaddled to the nearest grocery store for food. For dinner, we foraged for lettuce and green onion for our salads.
