Day 3: Indoor Work with Botanicals & Plant Starts

Wednesday!!! Today was rainy and windy in the morning. Our first task consisted of repotting the cucumber and some squash. Labeling was a bit of a nightmare because there were so many different kinds of cucumber and squash, and the amounts weren’t even. Marley even forgot to label a whole row of cukes! 🤦‍♀️ (It's okay, Seth's electronica kept him happy :) Once potted and watered, we went inside to help Seth with some botanical endeavors. We put stickers on the lip balm and officially packaged half of them. Using the heat gun was definitely a highlight of Elise's day. Marley was happy to let Elise do all the shrink wrapping after she minorly burnt her fingers a few times. The rest of the day was spent playing with kittens and weeding the grasses next to the greenhouse. #grasshopperheaven not to mention dinner at CJ’s and froyo for dessert:)
