Day 6: Day off & Food Poisoning

Today is Saturday and apparently we have the weekend off (we were not informed of this in advance). Surprise! But it worked out because Marley woke up with food poisoning and was out of commission all day. Unclear exactly what it was from but she definitely ingested her fair share of questionable 'food' items in the preceding days (including, but not limited to: undercooked chicken, undercooked brownies, and unrefrigerated juice). Elise was a champ though and not only cooked meals for Marley (thank you!), but even made academic use of the time. She read, researched Indigenous life in Chelan/Manson WA, and took some pictures around the farm.
